It was a privilege, and a really enjoyable day on Friday 17 April 2026, when Associate Professor Samuel Pichardo visited DRCMR, which was hosted by Postdoc Xavier Corominas, Senior Researcher Lasse Christiansen, Postdoc Björn Sigurðsson, Postdoc Yufei Song, Research Assistant Emilie Bougelet, Visiting Researcher Luigi Bonan, and Professor Axel Thielscher.

Great company, engaging discussions, and truly inspiring to see all the work Samuel Pichardo has done in Calgary. There’s clearly a lot of potential ahead in the ultrasound field, with so much left to explore and test.
