We are very happy to see the start-up company Magnolia Quantum Sensing spinning out of the exciting research in optical magnetometry being conducted at DRCMR.
Founded by researchers behind several years of development in optical EXAAQ magnetometers, Magnolia Quantum Sensing aims to bring this technology out of the lab and into next‑generation MRI scanners. Their optical sensors have the potential to offer higher resolution, lower cost, faster scanning, and novel applications within MRI.
The spin‑out represents an important milestone in translating DRCMR’s research into real‑world impact. The team will continue developing their solution and making it available on the market, while maintaining close scientific ties with DRCMR to ensure that the Danish MRI community stays at the forefront of this technological development.
We look forward to following Magnolia Quantum Sensing on their journey and to future collaborations that will help push the boundaries of what is possible in MRI and neuroscience.
