DRCMR posters presented at the Reinforcement Learning and Decision-Making Conference in Dublin.
Research Assistant Marleen van der Weij:
"I had the pleasure of presenting my poster titled "Ergodicity transformations as predictors of risk-taking behaviour and their functional neuronal correlates" at the Reinforcement Learning and Decision Making conference at Trinity College Dublin. This was a great opportunity to showcase our work to a broader audience."
Postdoc Amin Ghaderi Kangavari presented a project focusing on behavioral modeling of reinforcement learning in Parkinson’s Disease (PD). He applied a reinforcement learning algorithm within hierarchical Bayesian models to reveal how feedback-based learning is impaired in the PD group and whether medication (L-DOPA) restores this impairment.
Postdoc Simon Steinkamp presented his work on rewardGym (https://github.com/rewardMap/rewardGym), a Python framework that makes it easier for researchers to design and analyze psychological experiments. It uses ideas from the reinforcement learning community to make it easy to use artificial agents to simulate behavior from these experiments and use the same setup for collecting data from human participants.
