My interests are in mental health and cognitive changes during typical brain ageing.
Using data from the longitudinal LISA project, the aim of my research is to examine trajectories of depressive symptoms and cognitive performance and their associations with MRI markers of brain health over time. A special focus is on physical activity as a modifiable risk factor of late-life depression and cognitive ageing.
