As a student you have the opporunity to do a resarch year before finilizing your studies. You become part of a research group and you also write your master's thesis at the same time.

DRCMR is a world of opportunities for interns from Denmark, Europe and the world. We welcome interns/volunteers from all fields with an interest in neuroscience, MRI and related fields.
The overall focus of the group is to advance the technology and thereby unleash the full potential of ultra-high field MR. Ultra-high field MR offers unique opportunities for revealing new insight into the relationship between structure and function of the human body as part of our clinical research studies.

At DRCMR, we are very fond of open source, and a large part of our infrastructure is based on Linux, FreeBSD, and PostgreSQL.
In 1985 the DRCMR was inaugurated thanks to a generous donation from the flamboyant travel agency owner Simon Spies of a 1.5 tesla magnetic resonance scanner to Hvidovre Hospital – the first MRI scanner in Denmark.
