The DRCMR is part of the EU-funded Lifebrain project. The project has initiated a global brain health survey to gain insight into people’s attitudes towards and views on brain health.

Brain disorders, which also includes psychiatric disorders, account for approximately one-third of the total disease burden and have enormous personal, societal, and economic costs. In contrast to physical health, however, brain health generally has played a minor role in people’s mind and public health policies

The results of the survey will help us develop health policy recommendations and advice for maintaining a healthy brain throughout life.
