[EXPIRED] Postdoc in Deep Learning based MRI Image Analysis and Outcome Prediction

Your profile:

You should be a creative and enthusiastic researcher with:

  • A PhD degree in computer science, data science, engineering, physics, biomedical sciences or a related field.
  • A clear interest in image analysis using machine learning and deep learning.
  • Affinity with medical applications.
  • Expertise in software development is essential, preferably in Python/C++.
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills.
  • Previous experience with MRI acquisition and data analysis is advantageous but not a requirement.

 

Your tasks:

  • To work directly with neuroimaging researchers to ensure that our research studies, in particular our aging, Dementia and Parkinsonism studies take full advantage of the clinical information available in the multi-parametric MRI images (structural, functional and metabolic) as well from the cognitive and functional tests.
  • To develop novel imaging analysis methods rooted in deep learning algorithms.
  • To advance the field through your own research.
  • To engage in internal education, grant writing, knowledge dissemination, and publication of results in international, recognized scientific journals. 

 

Your position:

You will be employed for a three-year period at the Danish Research Centre for Magnetic Resonance where you will be part of the Ultra-high-field MR group and the Computational Neuroimaging group. 

 

Salary and Terms of Employment:

Salary, pension and terms of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the Danish Regions (Danske Regioner) and the relevant professional organization. The salary depends on background education and seniority. Further, supplements can be negotiated. Note that candidates coming from abroad may be eligible for tax reductions.
