Research Interests

My main interests are to explore age-related changes on brain structure and function in the healthy aging brain and its relation with cognitive decline. In my PhD project we would like to characterize different brain aging patterns using multimodal MRI at midlife and old age and associate these patterns with the decline of cognition as well as identifying early predictors leading to an accelerated aging brain.
