Education:
MSc in Human Biology, University of Copenhagen.

Research groups:
Preclinical research group

Main Research Interests:
In my PhD project I am using a new MR-method called Hyperpolarized 13C MRI that can visualize chemical changes in the heart and other tissues of interest. The method will be used to study heart metabolism and the effect of treatment after myocardial ischemia.

Other research interest(s):
In general I am very interested in the biological consequences of heart ischemia, infarction and stroke. Other research interests are cancer biology and preclinical MRI.
