Current position:
Post doc researcher.

Education:

  • BEng. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Imperial College, University of London
  • MSc. with Distinction in Biomedical Engineering, Imperial College, University of London
  • Ph.D in Medical Imaging, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Imperial College, University of London

Research groups:
Diffusion Imaging Group (DIG)

Main research interest:
Working to develop methodological improvements in tractography of diffusion MRI, with the aim of being able to successfully map the network of white-matter fibre tracts that form the connections between the brain's cortical processing areas.

Other research interest(s):
Related to the quantification of the brain's connections is the difficulty in visualisation of such complex data. I am therefore also interested in finding ways which enable visual appreciation of this data so that it may be useful, for example in diagnosis and treatment planning.
