Preclinical MRI with the aim of develop and optimize methods to characterize healthy and diseased tissue.
Metabolic imaging and spectroscopy using hyperpolarized carbon-13 labelled substances.
Hyperpolarized helium-3 lung imaging to monitor disease progression in COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease).
Other research interest(s):
Microstructural characterisation of tissue using diffusion (and other) methods.
